What is Webigail all about? Well, just about anything. There are so many things that interest me: technology, education, knitting and more. I have never been able to ‘pick-n-stick’ to one particular venue, or topic, as so many things intrigue me. As a result, I found myself in the midst of a very eclectic world, surrounded by people who inspire me.

I am often asked, “What made you, out of the clear blue, decide to take up knitting?”

I initially thought that my knitting goals, were based on the fact that I had trouble finding cardigans for my son. I saw great sweaters for girls, in a bevy of colors and lengths, but few for boys. So, why not knit some myself, right? Right.

Then, I realized that my need to knit also filled a void, since I quit working outside of the home. I am accustomed to working, being “productive” and knitting afforded me the ability to reap the rewards at the end of the day.

I am one of those types of people, who cannot shut the brain off. My head is always spinning, whirring, and stirring. I have found that knitting keeps me from churning, as I have turned my attentions to countless patterns, fibers and gadgets. I take solace knowing that there are others, who are equally enamored with the mere act of knitting.

I hope that anyone who stumbles upon my site will find it useful, but be warned…I’m opinionated and sometimes find myself breaking a leg, as I fall off my soapbox.
